Release Notes:

In today's music world, punk/pop bands seem to be

dominating the industry with a new one popping up

everyday. Record labels seem to think that by

holding a large audition and slapping together some

guys with a songwriter they'll have a hit. Contrary

to their belief, the market has beenover-saturated

with these boy groups, and music fans have long

yearned for a punk/pop group that can put themselves

together the old-fashioned way. Their wait is now

over. The music scene has recently been taken by

stormby a hot new music group full of energy and

originality ready to takeover the world. They are

called Frequency5.

Johnny Lee, Jason Layden, Steven Koehler, Brent

Fiege and Mike Baker make up this talented young

group who combine their influences to form their own

distinct sound and their own frequency. Johnny Lee

from Frequency5 says, 'Nothing has changed. The

protocol has always been the same. You find talented

guys that you can vibe with and them you practice,

practice, practice. If something doesn't work, you

change it and if there is a weak link, you replace

it. Then in the end you have your perfect band with

the right chemistry. Chemistry is something that

comes from within your group. No producer or manager

or label can create chemistry by putting a putting a

group of guys together in the same room. These

newbreeds of bands are going about it all wrong.

What we are about is back to the basics. We are five

guys who came together for the music and have stayed

together because we are doing something that is true

to our hearts. We write and produce our own songs

and have always relied on our own talents to get us

there. Now we are ready to share everything we've

done with the world.

Frequency5 has been on a school tour with SEAP and

102.7 KIIS FM, Power106 and 100.3 The Beat of Los

Angeles bringing their music to kids all across

Southern CA. They have also appeared on the Disney

Ch., Nickelodeon, and in Pop Star Magazine. You can

currently see Frequency5 on their national PSA on

Crime. Prevention airing on all CBS, NBC, ABC, MTV,

ESPN and all other channels! Their publicist

Juliette says 'I've seen many acts come and go but

Frequency5 has staying power and more potential to

make it huge because their unique image has

worldwide crossover appeal.'
